Code of Conduct for Visiting Groups
Standards expected of visiting groups to help maintain a safe, respectful and well-managed environment for everyone at the Centre
Terms and Conditions
1 Supervision and safeguarding
Visiting organisations retain responsibility for the supervision and safeguarding of their group members at all times.
Appropriate adult-to-child ratios must be maintained in line with your organisation’s safeguarding requirements.
2 Respect for the site
- Use facilities responsibly and follow staff instructions
- Respect accommodation areas and agreed access boundaries
- Report damage, hazards or incidents promptly
3 Behaviour standards
Aggressive, unsafe or discriminatory behaviour is not tolerated. The Centre may intervene or terminate a stay where safety is compromised.
4 Prohibited items and activity
- Illegal substances
- Vandalism or deliberate damage
- Dangerous behaviour or misuse of equipment
5 Indoor Climbing Wall & Archery (Instructor-led)
The Centre provides qualified instructors for indoor climbing wall and archery sessions where these activities are booked.
- Participants must follow all instructor safety briefings and instructions.
- Access to equipment is only permitted during supervised sessions.
- Unsafe behaviour will result in removal from the activity.

6 Reporting concerns
For urgent safety concerns during a stay, notify the Duty Manager immediately. For non-urgent concerns, use the contact page: Contact Us.
