1 Key issue

Groups may be issued with keys for their allocated areas during their stay. Group leaders are responsible for the safekeeping and return of issued keys.

2 Overnight gates and site access

The front gates are locked at night by the warden. Visiting groups will be issued with a key for access and are expected to ensure gates are kept secure and not left open.

3 Personal responsibility for property

Visitors and groups remain responsible for all personal belongings, equipment and property brought onto the site. The Centre cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal items left in buildings, activity areas or the car park. Groups are advised to ensure valuables are kept secure and not left unattended.

4 Site security expectations

Group leaders should ensure external doors are secured when areas are unattended and that keys are not shared beyond the authorised leadership team. Any security concerns should be reported to Centre staff promptly.

5 Lost keys and replacement cost

Lost keys must be reported to Centre staff immediately. Replacement cost for a full area key set is £55.
